Farewell Ceremony to Korea Oversea Volunteer

On January 11, 2018, KOICA Cambodia office held a Farewell Ceremony for 49th volunteer group who had successfully completed their volunteering mission in Cambodia and will return to the Republic of Korea. Mr. SHI Tae Chul, Ms. CHOO Moon Hee, and Mr. KIM Hyung Suk had work as volunteer for two year in various provinces in Cambodia including Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, and Phnom Penh City since January 14, 2016. In that occasion, Country Director of KOICA Cambodia Office, Mr. Jeong Yun Gil gave an appreciated and grateful speech to the three volunteers for their working in previous two year. After that, the three volunteers also gave a brief presentation about their working activities in Cambodia as they have achieved so far.
In addition, all terminated KOVs had received certification of Appreciation Certificate to appreciate their successful volunteering service as well.

Since 2003, KOICA has dispatched 509 KOVs to work in various fields in Cambodia. Currently, 62 Korean volunteers are performing their services in 18 Provinces in Cambodia and also 2 more new volunteer from new group (Cambodia Group 57th) will join them in next month.
